IIUC, OC++ is not doing a very good job on standards-conformance.
The version being used in Synopsis is much better in this regard, but
since Synopsis also only looks at declarations, I'm inclined to guess
that what it generates for function bodies may not be very satisfying.
But try it, by all means ;-)
