[GCC-XML] function bodies and C language support

I found the email concerning C language support and function bodies in
the archive.

I'm interested in both. I'm considering using gccxml for source code
metrics of a large gcc (4.1.2) code base.

I did see that you consider the current code "half-baked" and would
like to contribute ...
